The real road of compassion, that is, giving, helping, assistance and community service, is a road that can be set and declared as your life's purpose
Shaun Stenning said, Contrary to popular belief, most startup founders are not natural-born leaders. Instead, many take on leadership roles without developing or improving their skills. This prevents them from effectively influencing others, preventing them from starting their businesses. There are several ways that entrepreneurs can improve their leadership abilities.
HAVE A STRATEGIC GAMEPLANDespite their passion for innovation, entrepreneurs need a strategic vision to guide their company and organization. This can be done through the development of a comprehensive strategic plan. A strategic vision is a framework that describes the organization’s goals and how it will be able to achieve them in the future. It’s also about developing a unique mission and a deeper understanding of the company. Having a vision helps you connect with your customers, investors, and employees so that they’ll support your efforts. NEVER STOP LEARNINGThere’s a difference between leaders and entrepreneurs in learning new skills and knowledge. While both have a passion for learning, entrepreneurs tend to let their egos get in the way of their education. On the other hand, leaders are more likely to absorb new information and improve their skills to become more effective and successful. For instance, if leaders feel they need to improve their public speaking skills, they might try taking a course. BE AN ENCOURAGERLeaders are expected to speak with others with respect. They also help their teams align their personal goals with the organizations. This is done by developing a trusting relationship with their team members. Entrepreneurs tend to have difficulty letting go of control. However, giving workers more autonomy can help them improve their productivity and motivation. AVOID MICROMANAGINGMake sure that you’re keeping track of the various departments of your company to ensure that they’re performing at their best. It’s common for entrepreneurs to get involved in minor details of their company due to their passion for the business. However, it’s essential to remember that the employees, not the leaders, should make these decisions. SOLICIT FEEDBACKEntrepreneurs must also go to the point of contact with potential customers to find out if they would like to purchase their product or service. Entrepreneurs who are unwilling to listen to their team members’ feedback might be unable to market their product or service effectively. Unlike entrepreneurs, leaders are expected to ask their team members for feedback regularly. Although it’s not always easy to admit mistakes, leaders know that this form of criticism can help them improve their leadership skills.

Shaun Stenning said, “This is the last month of 2022 so I thought this was the perfect moment to look back on the most important life lesson I learned these past few months with a fresh mind and rationally evaluate it.”
I know everyone is all about looking ahead right now but I think it’s so important to take note of what you’ve learned this year in order to move forward properly. 2020 had a lot of ups and downs for me and in many ways, I think it was the prep year for what’s to come. According to Shaun Stenning, “I’m sure we all learned some serious lessons for this year, from how to take care of ourselves to how to deal with stress and lastly the importance of our health. The important thing is that you take those lessons into consideration and keep learning from them in 2021 and beyond!” “2022 has been one long lesson for me. This much change taught me these life lessons that I will use every day for the rest of my life.” Shaun said. Here are the things I learned this year about myself, life, and business. Put God first. I live my life is to always put God first and show through my actions that He is the most important thing to me. But does it always go down like that? Every time that I put my relationship with God first. Don’t measure your self-worth by your job performance or title. Once was not enough for me to learn this important lesson. I had to make the same mistake twice to appreciate why you should never measure your self-worth by the status of your occupation. Stress kills. I made the necessary changes in my life at work and at home to reduce that stress did my ruminations become manageable. Focus on what you can control, not what you can’t Whatever you’re focusing on is where your energy will go and what will inevitably and eventually effect the material outcomes of your life and relationships Be Nice to Yourself. And then be even nicer to yourself How much more reason then do we have to get really really good at being kind and uplifting to ourselves – am I right? It affects everything. |
